Why Big Names and Budding Businesses Use Promotional Products.

As I sit here tonight I think of the countless clients that ask me why should they use promotional products, so I thought I would discuss a few reasons why some of the major fortune five hundred and smart businesses use promotional products as part of their marketing and employee appreciation plan.

1. Brand awareness and popularity along with brand loyalty tops the list of the most important reasons why smart business owners order promotional products. Statistics show that across the US and all over the globe, business owners use promotional items with this specific objective in mind. Customers remember a brand better when they feel that they are gaining more than what they have paid for. Point of sales premium gift items along with a customer’s purchases not only gives them a memorable experience; it makes them come back for more. Using top-selling wearable promotional products like clothing and accessories (shopping bags) bolsters brand awareness due to optimized visibility. It is the most effective way to keep consumers reminded that a top quality brand exists.

2. Promoting team spirit among employees and special events. Wearing the company logo and the company slogan encourages team members to become more efficient and competitive. It keeps each one reminded of the company’s goals and what it stands for. Promotional shirts and other logo-bearing accessories also boost self-esteem and self-worth which ultimately build up team productivity. Promotional goods also announce a company anniversary celebration and special events.

3. Businesses also use promotional products to draw big crowds to trade shows and exhibits. The thought of acquiring interesting gift items, seeing innovative products and having new experiences attracts consumers and investors. Trade shows are sales-generating promotional campaigns that boost traffic and commerce which benefits consumers and business owners, alike.

4. Giving promotional products is a great way for businesses to say thank you. This covers community assistance, sponsorships, school programs, and media and public relations. This particular purpose demonstrates that a company reaches out to the community where it belongs; an expression of appreciation for the consumers that frequent the business.

5. Another reason why wise entrepreneurs, big and small businesses, invest in promotional products is to expand customer base. Effective advertising through increased visibility and public appeal with the use of interesting and superior promotional products attracts more consumers and lure them in like bait. Prospecting and acquiring more customers has been successful through the years because of the advantages that the ‘act of giving’ brings.

Those are just a few reasons why promotional products is a fast-rising tool that business owners incorporate for them to gain the leverage they seek to keep them over and above their competitors.

Other reasons are as follows: dealer and distributor appreciation; new merchandise and service introduction; team and employee recognition; non-profit distribution; internal promotions, incentives, employee reminders and information dissemination; referral stimulation; and marketing research and observation.

Remember using a Promotional Products Professional is always a good idea even if to bounce ideas off.

Winter Promotions what is the right?

With the holiday season inching day by day upon us we know what that brings right? Snow, ice, and cold  yes folks winter is slowly approaching, most of us could not wait for it back in July and August but now some of us can’t wait for it to go away already before we’re even in the thick of it RIGHT!!

Last year I was  getting ready to take my daughters to school, my car is parked out of the garage on account my wife doesn’t like to park in the garage if my car is in there also (ok I don’t like to park in the garage with her car in there). So I open the front door and wouldn’t you know it snow all night, my car was buried under a mountain of this beautiful white stuff.

I opened the car door looking frantically for a snow brush, but not one brush to be found in the vehicle, I did find water bottles, Pens, Pads and many other promotional items but NO snow brush I stood thinking to myself how about that a promotional guy with no snow brush in the winter and I have to get the girls to school.

I would have given anything at that moment to have one of those in my car even better yet I would have praised the company or individual that gave me such a useful promotional item.

There are many things people use for promotions some good some not so good so I thought this would be a good time to list a few useful promotional items that could be used in the winter and be a hit with any past, present, or future clients.

 1.Snow and Ice remover:

Snow and ice scrapper and brush combo is perfect for winter giveaways. People will always appreciate a gift where it makes light work of anything (I know I would have loved one last year). There are many different styles to choose from but thing about your message and how your company is being portrayed. My favorite is the long handled brush and scrapper It has generous handle length, full brush, and sturdy scraper at the end for the hard to manage ice and it helps with the reach if your clients owns an SUV or Truck.

2 Tire pressure gauge:

With todays gasoline prices saving money on this valuable commodity is important not only does it help in this area but With the right amount of air pressure, tires wear longer, enhance handling, and prevent accidents. Show your clients you truly care by providing them with a tire pressure gauge that will be admired each time it’s used.

3. Pocket flashlight:

How many of us have dropped something in the dark and wished we had a light or we try using are phones to find it on the cold wet ground, my hand is up. flashlights can be imprinted with your company name or logo or a fun ad to ensure maximum exposure. They make great gifts and giveaways and say you and your company cares about safety

4.Travel Mugs:

Coffee, tea, hot chocolate we all drink some sort of hot beverage, using travel mugs as a promotional item will be sure to make a big hit with any potential client. Travel mugs are used in the car and office your brand could be displayed to hundreds of people per day making travel mugs one of the best Cost per Impression (CpI) item out there.

5. Umbrellas:

Although they don’t seam like a great promotional item Umbrellas would be used by anyone that had them and had to travel even from the car to the grocery store, mall, or the office. And with the imprint area possibility your brand will shout to others passing by your dry client while using such a handy promotional item.

These items are just a few of many items that I personally thinking and have seen appreciated as useful promotions when choosing your winter promotions feel free to consult a promotional products professional on what could work in your industry.

Promotional Pens Do They Really Work?

We see them everywhere, most of us have probably purchase them yes the promotional pen but why is it the first thing we usually purchase when it comes to giveaways?

Well most would say because they are cheap, Some would say because they are used by most everyone.

True while pens are somewhat inexpensive to purchase be careful in choosing solely on price and quantity. Pens are a great way to get your message to the masses I will share with you a story my daughter and I went to a locally restaurant (Fish Mmmm) well I always make it a point to  leave my pens where I have to sign for a check or in the age of electronic signing pads where I would usually have to sign.

Well I left my promotional pen there at the desk a few weeks later the manager of the restaurant called to order breath mints for the restaurant (well it is fish) just from that little writing instrument I landed a pretty nice account.

A study conducted by the advertising specialty institute (ASI)  to a little over 600 business people in four metropolitan cities concluded that 32% who were interviewed had a more favorable impression of an advertiser when they received a writing instrument, 54% could recall the advertiser that used writing instrument to convey a message.

So the next time you want to order a promotional pen don’t just have your name and phone number on it. Give a reason why the receiver should contact you and use your services, remember the cost of impression of a writing instrument is about $0.002 per impression. NOW GO FOR IT FOLKS.
